Open ... Southern VA Bassmasters of Emporia will hold the 2nd Annual "Charlie Pearce Memorial Bass Tournament" on Sunday, March 29 on Lake Gaston at Peahill Creek Landing. Blast off at 7am and weighin at 3pm. Entry fee is $100 with 90% payback. $1000 guaranteed to 1st Place based on 30 boat field. Every team that pre-registers will have a chance to win back half of the entry fee by a hat draw at the conclusion of the tournament. Pre-registration will end at 12 midnight on Saturday March 28. Anyone not pre-registered can register the morning of the tournament starting at 5:30am. Blastoff will be based on your registration number. Registration is from 5 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. at the picnic area and is open to the public. This is a family event that has both adult and children's categories.
