 This is the biggest blue cat that I have caught at Bugg's Island. I'm glad my friend was along to help net it. It weighed 51 pounds, and was 45 inchs long. It was caught in shallow water. The fish was released to fight again, best of luck to all you fishermen, hope yall' catch a fish of a lifetime. |

 Not a monster, but the kids didn’t think there were any “big” fish in the lake. This catch from a canoe July 10th not only resulted a whole lot of fun, but a new generation of fishermen! We will be back at the lake Labor Day weekend to teach the boys how to fish! Sometimes the Catch of the Day isn’t about the fish so much as it is about the sport. |

Had a bunch of 6-7-8 pounders earlier in the day up near the rivers. Good decision to get out on Kerr that weekend, had a blast! |

 Catfish weighed 58 pounds, measured 46 1/2 inches long, was caught April 21st, 2010 at Stanton River State Park, caught on 20 pound test line in three feet of water. Good luck to the rest of you all, hope you get one too. This was the bigest flathead catfish that I ever caught. |
